In my house, the cake that we cook more often is the chocolate cake. We already have that recipe of a chocolate cake that always works, with any cover, of a bitter chocolate cake, … But I like to keep experimenting new recipes. I like to search online for new recipes and try them at home. One place that I like to look for different recipes, is the Mafalda Agante’s blog, Há alguém mais gulosa do que eu?. I found this recipe of a chocolate cake with lemon cream in her blog. This cake is so tasty that I had to share it with you.
This post is different from what I usually post and I would like to know if you like this kind of posts!
For the cake:
- 4 eggs
- 200 g chocolate 70% cocoa
- 200 g unsalted butter
- 160 g sugar
- 60 g wheat flour with yeast
For the lemon cream
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 100 g cream cheese
- 150 g powder sugar
- 3 soup spoon of lemon juice
Grease a round cake tin with butter and line the base with vegetal paper, also greased. with butter and Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
For the cake, mix the butter and the sugar for 4 minutes, with a mixer. Add the eggs, without stop mixing. Add the chocolate previously melted in the microwaves. Add the flour and mix it until you obtain a homogenous mixture.
Pour the mixture and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. The cake should be creamy.
For the lemon cream, mix all the ingredients until you obtain a homogenous cream. Cover the cake with the cream.
